Your Guam Chamber Small Business Focus & Development Committee is pleased to announce that Avian Amsdill, Video Marketing Strategist of MotionTide will be the featured speaker for this month's seminar. He will be speaking on the topic - How to use Video Marketing on Social Media Platforms.

This event is scheduled for Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Guam Chamber of Commerce office in Hagåtña. The seminar is open to members at $20.00 and future members at $40.00. Registration is open! AFC A Conversation With

CAPT John T. Frye

The Armed Forces Committee of the Guam Chamber of Commerce would like to extend its sincere Si Yu'os Ma'åse to CAPT John T. Frye, Commanding Officer of Naval Base Guam for speaking to our AFC members regarding Naval Base Guam's upcoming projects, and base facility improvements.

Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration Brings Cyber Protection Team to Guam 

The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration’s cybersecurity initiative continues with an Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) event led by the U.S. Air Force Reserve's 51st Network Operations Squadron and hosted by the Guam Office of Technology (OTECH). Over 20 cybersecurity professionals from across the Department of Defense, Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense, and the Community Defense Liaison Office (CDLO) are working to enhance the cyber defense capacity for the Island of Guam. Read more of the news release from the office of the Governor.

Several of Delegate Moylan's Amendments Make The MILCON/VA Appropriation Bill

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 8580, the Appropriations measure for Military Construction, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and related agencies for Fiscal Year 2025. Delegate James Moylan had several amendments that he sponsored or co-sponsored which were adopted in the legislation, including, among others. Trash Pick-up

The Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association (GHRA) in partnership with the Japan Guam Travel Association will be organizing a trash pick-up along the roadside/ beach side of Tumon Bay on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Matapang Beach Park, in an effort to keep our tropical island beautiful and safe for all. Registration is ongoing and if you would like to take part in this effort in keeping our island beautiful, our members at GHRA have provided us with a registration and waiver form link for you and your family!
