Invitation for Expressions of Interest
|
|
The Community Justice Partnership in Highland would like to invite expressions of interest from third sector organisations.
This funding opportunity is for larger grants (minimum of £20k, maximum £40k) for more substantive and targeted initiatives. Applicants should make an initial Expression of Interest (EoI), and those who fit best with the proposed areas of needs will be invited to pitch through a digital interview in late March. Successful proposals will be invited to a 30 minute ‘dragon’s den’ style proposal, hosted online.
This is an opportunity to deliver services in a new and imaginative way, specifically in relation to the following criteria:
- Creating opportunities for people to undertake their Community Payback Order with an unpaid work or other activity requirement within communities and on community projects
- Working with people who have an offending history to support their recovery and reduce their risk of reoffending within rural and remote rural Highland
This work would be supported by the CJP Manager. If you have any questions, please contact Margaret at cjmanager@highlandtsi.org.uk
Key Dates:
EOI close: 7th February, 2022
Panel to meet: week of 21st February for initial sifting
Dragon’s Den: 7th March

Small Change for Justice
for smaller grants of up to £4k
Groups interested in the smaller grants route will be asked to pitch live to a limited audience for the first in-person event organised by the Community Justice Partnership in two years. With various safety measures in place, the event will offer an opportunity to provide small grants to groups pitching on the day, while also ensuring that we can better understand and see the work of the sector more visibly through the dedicated presentation for each of the groups taking part.
Small Change applicants need to read the following Information and complete an initial application to bid. Successful bids applicants will be invited to take part in a limited audience event on March 18, 2022 (venue TBD). Here where they pitch how they would use the funding to the audience for up to 3 minutes with a further 3 minutes of questions from the audience. (please note, no power point presentations allowed during the 3 minute pitches - be creative!)
Closing date for applications: 7 February 2022
The funding would need to be spent within 12 months of May 2022, which is the latest start date for your proposed activity.
If you have any questions, please contact Margaret McShane cjmanager@highlandtsi.org.uk or 01349 864289
