Winthrop Harbor's Trunk or Treat 

You’re Invited! to Winthrop Harbor's Trunk or Treat October 26, 2024, 3pm to 5:30pm

Trunk-or-treating is a Halloween activity where participants decorate their cars or decorate an area in the parking lot and give out candy to children in a parking lot. It's a safer alternative to traditional trick-or-treating and is especially popular in areas where houses are far apart or neighbors don't want visitors on Halloween.

If you want to participate in the trunk program, click on the link below to register. Residents do not have to decorate a trunk. They are welcome to walk through the parking lot and trick-or-treat at the trunks. This is a FREE event open to all.

WH Police Department Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

Winthrop Harbor Police Department is in need of Class A uniforms. These uniforms are expensive at about $1,200 per officer. Instead of using taxpayer funds, Community 365 is partnering with our police department to help raise the necessary funds.

Our second fundraiser is a Spaghetti Dinner to be held November 9 at 6 pm at the Winthrop Harbor VFW Post 7448 in Winthrop Harbor. We are in need of raffle prize donations, sponsors, and especially people to purchase tickets to eat our nummy spaghetti with homemade sauce and meatballs! Tickets are $9 in advance - $10 at the door.

Miss Cornerstone of Illinois titleholders and Lake County Princesses will host a bake sale at the event.
