DBEDT Hawaii State Trade Expansion Program (HISTEP) - Trade Show Opportunities | |
The State's Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism (DBEDT) has a longstanding program funded in part through a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to support Hawaii companies with export opportunities. The Hawaii State Trade Expansion Program (HISTEP), is designed to assist Hawaii's companies with three main components - export readiness program, Hawaii pavilions, and direct company assistance.
If you have plans to attend or are looking to attend a trade show, the HISTEP program could provide assistance to cover booth-related expenses under a Hawaii Pavillion. Some opportunities available include the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) Conferences in Japan (March 2023) and London (September 2023). The HISTEP program is not limited to these conferences but open to any eligible companies applying for participation in a trade show.
