Team PPMC is continuing our internal journey of DEI learning! This go around is PPMC Book Club and we're reading The Leader's Guide to Unconscious Bias: How To Reframe Bias, Cultivate Connection, and Create High-Performing Teams.

The Leader’s Guide to Unconscious Bias explains that bias is the result of mental shortcuts, our likes and dislikes, and is a natural part of the human condition - then helps leaders overcome assumptions to reframe unconcious thoughts.

City of Wichita HOME-ARP

City Council approved an agreement with PETRA Inc. for multi-phased development of the Multi-Agency Center (MAC) to serve as a "navigation center" for individuals experiencing housing insecurity and other immediate needs. 

PETRA Inc., and stakeholder engagement partners are now working to identify potential partners, services, scale, funding, and site location.

The Heartland Environment Justice Center is hiring!

The Heartland Environmental Justice Center is a division of the Environmental Finance Center at Wichita State that supports communities and organizations who serve underrepresented and disadvantaged communities in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, and adjoining Indigenous Nations in their efforts to advance environmental justice and energy equity.
