Hosted at the stunning Untermeyer Gardens, our members gathered to stroll the gardens, share a picnic dinner, socialize, and elect our Board Class of 2025. All enjoyed music by the talented activist/musician Fred Gillen Jr.!

Riverkeeper Sweep: Pocantico Lake County Park


Pocantico Lake was chosen as a cleanup site for the annual Riverkeeper Sweep hosted by Riverkeeper on May 7th. This is the 11th yearly sweep boasting 120+ shoreline cleanups in 1 day – NYC to the Adirondacks

Francesca Gossett: Guest Editor & Summer Intern

Francesca Gossett will be working with FCWC until the end of summer when she will be heading to the Midwest to study chemistry and environmental science at the University of Chicago. She is a valuable asset to the organization and we appreciate all her help!

40 Under 40 Rising Star 2022


Paul Presendieu was selected as a "40 Under 40 Rising Stars" award winner by the Business Council of Westchester. At Million Air, he and the 39 other awardees will be honored on September 20, 2022. "The 2022 Rising Stars honorees were chosen based on professional and/or entrepreneurial accomplishments, professional and/or business affiliations, and demonstrated leadership skills," said Business Council Westchester. Your efforts within the environmental community are tremendous. Keep on shining, Paul! 

Congratulations, Bianca!


Bianca Jimenez, previously co-chair of the FCWC Student Network and now our summer intern, has just graduated from Mercy College with a degree in Biology! Bianca is with us until August when she starts a graduate program at North Carolina State University in Biology with a focus on Ecology. Bianca is building a more robust student network in her time at FCWC to promote youth engagement on conservation committees and create partnerships with other student-led organizations. Encourage students in your life to join the network!
