USF professor John Robison presents an abso-lute-ly amazing program of solo music for lute, theorbo, and archlute, featuring solo music for 10-course Renaissance lute by English, Flemish, French, German, and Italian composers (Cato, Francisque, Mertel, etc.), solo theorbo music by Piccinini, and archlute pieces by Zamboni. There will also be lutes of puns!

USF Contemporary Art Museum façade

On International Democracy Day, USFCAM presents an exterior installation of SOS Color Code 2020, three artist designed flags created collaboratively by Chicago-based artists and designers Luftwerk and Normal. Using the universal language of Morse code and color theory, the exhibition transforms the symbol of distress–S (three dots) O (three dashes) S (three dots)–into a sign of solidarity and connectedness for humanity.

Life During War Time: Art in the Age of Coronavirus

Life During Wartime is the USF Contemporary Art Museum’s first major virtual exhibition. It humbly engages a select company of international artists to respond to the overwhelming realities of the crisis that has gripped the planet since March 5, the date the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. 


Aug 24-Dec 5, 2020

The Neighbors: Slide Shows for America, features photographic slideshows by artists Widline Cadet, Guy Greenberg, Curran Hatleberg, Kathya Maria Landeros, and Zora J Murff. Amid a polarizing 2020 election season and an evolving COVID-19 pandemic, each participating camera artist was commissioned to create a slideshow of underexposed communities in the United States.
