Artful Pianos
We are excited to announce that our Artful Pianos will be back again for summer 2021! We are currently looking for volunteer “Piano Pals” to look after the piano in your village location & cover it in the event of rain. We will supply the plastic bin, tarp and bungee cords. We are still looking for help in Newton Centre, Newtonville, Auburndale, West Newton and Waban. If interested please email [email protected].
Beautification Committee
Do you enjoy gardening? Have a green thumb and want to help with the beautification of Newton? Join the newly formed Newton Community Pride Beautification Committee led by NCP board members Howard Sholkin and Barbara Darnell. Volunteers welcome to help maintain our award winning gardens, plant flowers in pots around the city and more. Email [email protected] to join!

Starring Linda Goetz as Queen Elizabeth, Sarah Brooke Vanaman as Mary, Queen of Scots, and Tatiana Ramos as Lord Burleigh.

Music by Lady Mary Dering, Miss Abrams, and Anne Boleyn performed by the musicians of Cappella Clausura.

Celebrate Juneteenth on Sunday, June 19, 12 - 4 PM at the Hyde Playground with a live DJ, special dance performance, food truck and ice cream. All are welcome.

Save The Date - for the 6th annual Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11 and celebrate Newton‘s talented musicians, singers, bands, poets, story tellers & more.
