The TPO is excited to partner with North Florida Schools for Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day on October 8, 2025. This national event encourages students and families to walk, bike or roll to school while promoting healthy habits, reducing traffic congestion, and highlighting the importance of safe routes to school! See which schools are participating this year. 

­­North Florida TPO Executive Director Jeff Sheffield will join Mayor Donna Deegan, JTA CEO Nat Ford, Jax native and business/government leader Adam Hollingsworth, and TEAMFlorida Chair and Lake County Commissioner Sean Parks for the general session panel Friday morning, October 17.­

Clay County is launching a Safe Streets for All (SS4A) project to improve roadway safety for everyone who uses our roads — whether walking, biking or driving. The goal is simple: reduce and ultimately eliminate serious injuries and fatalities.

Take a few minutes to share your perspective on where roadway safety can be improved across Clay County by taking this survey.

TPO Planner Thalia Fusté joined the Old Beach Bike Riders Association (OBBRA) association at the St. Augustine Night Market to give out educational safety materials, bike lights and helmets with a professional fitting.
