More from the Leftovers series:

“Leftovers” is a series of small abstract paintings that are each inspired by one of my larger reality-based works. Each small painting is created using only “leftover” paint from the larger painting and is meant to be an abstract representation of the mood of the original piece.

What else have I been up to?

This past month I had the please of working with an entire school district (K-12) as an Artist-In-Residence to guide the students in creating a 30 foot mural on canvas of some of their happy memories. This was, by far, the largest project that I have ever taken on with students. I was able to teach them about using art to tell stories, just like I do with my own work. Check out the video link below to see the finished project! I just love watching how it changes from kindergarten through high school. These kids did such a great job and I had a wonderful time guiding this project!
