Upcoming Events and Reminders for Students
Dear Assumption Students,

Can you believe all we’ve accomplished and how far we’ve come since last March? Our collaboration, dedication, and belief in one another has transformed a catchy tagline into reality; providing and sustaining an in-person experience during a pandemic - #HoundsStrongerTogether.

As the end of this academic year nears, we thought this is a good time to provide reminders regarding general expectations for navigating campus and how to avoid trouble in the bubble. Unfortunately, COVID-19 remains a significant concern and other colleges and universities have had to send students home and/or shelter-in-place due to positive cases.

With all that is at stake, particularly for our Seniors at this time of year, it is imperative we continue to live up to the Promise we made to one another to ensure we are successful in maintaining in-person engagement through May 9.

General Reminders:

Quarantine:
Students in quarantine must remain in quarantine until their symptom tracker indicates green. Please be patient as testing center staff need time to make this adjustment once results are reported.

Gatherings:
Gatherings both inside and outside of more than 8 people (including hosts) are strictly prohibited. Students found hosting/attending parties/gatherings will face suspension from the University.

Visitation/Guests:
Hosting guests on campus (including commuter students) and visitation between residence halls remains prohibited. Residential students are permitted one intra-hall visitor each, never to exceed 8 in any room. Example - 2-person room = 4 people total.  When visiting another student within your hall, masks must be worn by all.

Off-Campus Travel:
Travel off-campus is only permitted for essential purposes defined as medical appointments, approved work/internships, and groceries. Students must fill out the travel form for all off campus essential travel.
