Meet Thomas Reese,
Board Member
Thomas Reese is a Hampton Roads native, born and raised in Portsmouth. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served for four years before earning his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University and his MBA in Corporate Leadership from the University of Lynchburg. Thomas is married to Bernadette and they have three daughters, Brandy, Jatora, and Elizabeth.  The Reeses are active members of Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church. Thomas and Bernadette chair the couple’s ministry and volunteer weekly at Lakeview Elementary to share the gospel and mentor students. Elizabeth is a SBS junior and has attended StoneBridge School since K4.

The Reese family was introduced to SBS through a radio ad on channel 1010 WPMH. They asked people at their church about the school and received glowing remarks. However, it was Mrs. Sheree Beale’s kind and caring nature during the K4 evaluation that solidified their decision to attend StoneBridge School.

Thomas brings more than 39 years of business acumen and project management skills to the StoneBridge School Board of Directors. His vision for SBS is to be the leading and most sought-after private school in the Hampton Roads region and he wants to use his professional experience to support the faculty and staff in accomplishing the school's vision and mission.

Thomas's favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:8: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
