Wine Festival 2025

“Its Back! Outpost Wine and Cass & Nat Event Planning are excited to announce the second round of the Fort Mcmurray Wine Festival – bringing delicious wines from around the world to your doorstep. Enjoy local eats, and try something new as you move between booths for wine samples from Canada to New Zealand and everywhere in between.”

Join me for an unforgettable evening celebrating the rich tapestry of Canadian terroirs and culinary traditions. From the sun-kissed vineyards of British Columbia to the rugged coasts of Nova Scotia, this wine tasting will take you on a coast-to-coast journey through six exceptional Canadian wines, along with some Canadian cuisine staples.

Join local artist Hailey Nickerson for a two-part outdoor workshop exploring the delicate and meditative art of flower pressing. In the first session, participants will learn how to deconstruct and prepare flowers for pressing, gaining insight into techniques for drying and preserving plant materials. After allowing time for the flowers to dry, the group will reconvene to create unique, framed floral artworks using their own pressed blooms.

Materials are included, with the exception of a frame for your finished artwork. Participants will take home both their creations and their own flower press for future projects.

A “baby rave” is a daytime dance party event designed for families, where parents can bring their babies or toddlers to a fun, energetic atmosphere with music, lights kid’s activities, bouncy castles and so much more including a dinosaur. These events feature DJs playing popular kids’ songs, remixes, and sometimes even EDM, with an emphasis on fun and movement for both kids and parents. The goal is to provide a fun and engaging experience for both parents and children, with the hope that the kids will get tired and sleep well afterwards.
