Edmonton scene veterans A New Rhetoric are bringing their high octane melodic hardcore to Fort McMurray! For fans of: A Wilhelm Scream, Propagandhi, Strike Anywhere, and Bigwig.
Joining them Adam Macleod & The Big Dirty for their first show of 2026. Packed with crunchy riffs, tasty licks & whimsical musings the trio have recently begun writing new music!
Kickstarting the evening are W00T, a one person project built in quiet rooms and carried on to loud stages. From soft drifting ambience to crushing distortion it’s meant to be felt more than understood.

Hardcore punk legends Death By Stereo are headed to Fort McMurray for a special night at Kickin Horse Saloon! Since forming in 1998 the band have traveled all across the globe alongside bands like Sick of It All, AFI, Rise Against, A Wilhelm Scream, Ignite and more. In 2025, they remastered their classic album Black Sheep of the American Dream.
Formed in the Dominican Republic in 2001 and based out of Chicago since 2008, La Armada has carved out a name for themselves locally and nationally with their explosive live show.

In partnership with Ptarmigan Nordic Ski Club, we are offering a FREE female Biathlon Try it Day! This event is for females age 16+. All skills levels are welcome!
There will be lessons on running and shooting techniques with eco-aim rifles followed by a cooldown stretch at the end.
Women can bring children age 3-10 to participate in physical literacy games at the same time!

This campaign encourages community members to gain a new perspective. A perspective through the eyes of the abandoned, neglected, and forgotten from behind the kennel door.

March 14th is Pie Day, and we’re celebrating with an exciting new fundraising event from Pride! Join us in the Stonebridge Hotel Ballroom from 1-4pm for our first Pie for Pride Fundraiser!
Ticket purchasers will be able to bid in an artisan craft raffle and a pie raffle. There will also be a 50/50, a pie eating contest, and the big finale “Pied For Pride” – where you can bid on the chance to pie your favourite Fort Mac Famous celebrities in the face to raise money for Wood Buffalo Pride.
