Greetings Colleagues,

As we begin this new year, please place the following dates and division events on your calendars (see below). This is an initial framework for the annual agenda and is subject to change. However, please pay special attention to the quarterly meeting schedule. The quarterly gathering will include a quarterly review, open discussion, and upcoming events. Event reminders will be sent each month along with other relevant information/communication that would be beneficial to our division.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Regards,

Charles James Parker, MDiv, EdD, APBCC-HPC

New Palliative Care Measures: Free Webinar and Public Comment Opportunity! Register for a free webinar, February 1, 2-3 pm ET, to learn about two new patient-reported experience measures that assess the quality of care provided by palliative care teams -- how much patients feel heard and understood, and get the help they wanted for pain. The webinar will launch the public comment period to receive input from patients, caregivers and clinicians on the importance of implementing the measures that will run through March 1, 2021. Learn more about the Palliative Care Measures Project.
