This week features the opening of Lovesong at the Unicorn Theatre, A.I.M. by Kyle Abraham presents U.S. premier of White Space at Jacob's Pillow, Tom Papa: Grateful Bread Tour at Mahaiwe, Garden Tea Party at Chesterwood, Keep MOO'ving 5k at Highlawn Farm, "Weird Al" Yankovic: Bigger & Weirder 2026 Tour at Tanglewood and so much more.



FAMILY FUN AND COMMUNITY

High Lawn Farm

  • July 19 | 8:30 a.m. The 4th Annual Keep MOO'ving 5K returns to benefit Berkshire Bounty. Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to walk or run the scenic 3.1-mile course through rolling pastures overlooking Laurel Lake. Every finisher receives a complimentary ice cream, and the first 150 registrants receive a race T-shirt. Since 2023, the event has raised more than $12,000 to support Berkshire Bounty's mission of addressing food insecurity throughout the Berkshires.
  • July 22 | 7 p.m. Sunset & Scoops Yoga returns to High Lawn. Enjoy an all-levels yoga class on the lawn with YogaLee Studio surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the farm—and its famous cows. Registration includes a complimentary scoop of High Lawn ice cream after class.

Stockbridge Library Museum & Archives

  • July 18 | 3 p.m. Local author talk with Rob & Elisa Bildner join Ann Morrison for a conversation about The Berkshire Farm Table Cookbook, Second Edition.
  • Children's programs include Family Storytime on July 21, Play with Clay on July 22.

Stockbridge Concerts in the Park Enjoy free live music every Friday evening at the Bidwell Park Pavilion. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and relax with friends and family.

Chesterwood Experience the home, studio, and gardens of renowned sculptor Daniel Chester French.

  • July 18 | 3–6 p.m. Garden Tea Party Benefit featuring tea, cocktails, delicacies, a Tableaux Vivants performance by Doria Bramante, and presentation of the Daniel Chester French Medal to Gwen Pier and journalist Martin Baron. Proceeds support Chesterwood's exhibitions, educational programs, and ArtsAlive! Series.
  • July 22 & 23 | 5:30 p.m. ArtsAlive! Reviving Chesterwood's Tableaux Vivants with Doria Bramante. Experience living recreations of masterworks framed by Daniel Chester French's original picture frame.
  • Visitors can also enjoy children's programs, Berkshire Art Center classes, and the exhibitions The Minute Man: Examining Patriotism, Victory and Loss and In the Open: New England Sculptors Reclaim the Landscape through October 31.

Clark Art Institute (Williamstown)

The Mount is a historic house museum, cultural center, and public park set in the heart of Lenox.

  • July 17 | 8 p.m. Ghost Tour of the Mount
  • July 20 | 4 p.m. & July 21 | 11 a.m., Summer Author Series featuring Martha Ackmann with Anastasia Stanmeyer, Ain’t Nobody’s Fool: The Life and Times of Dolly Parton
  • July 22 | 5:00 p.m. New York Stories: Gilded Age Fashion: Iconic Looks and the Stories Behind Them with Elizabeth L. Block
  • July 23 | 5:30 p.m. Music: Jazz in Dialogue | An intimate performance with jazz pianist and composer Peggy Stern, featuring saxophonist Alex Coke
  • Forest Bathing, Stories & Stretches, Walking WordXWord, Qigong with Jamie Greene, continue throughout the week.

Norman Rockwell Museum offers an inspiring journey into the world of American illustration through the beloved works of Norman Rockwell. 

  • July 17 | 9:30 a.m. Curator Tour - American Stories: Revolution to Rockwell Get the inside scoop on our largest exhibition in nearly 20 years, "American Stories: Revolution to Rockwell" NRM’s Chief of Curator Affairs Russell Lord will be giving a special Curator Tour of the exhibition, discussing how select works on view reflect and shape American identity. The tour will also touch on the role illustration has played in tracing the actual history of the nation as well as communicating our shared values and aspirations.
  • July 18 | 10 a.m. & 3 p.m. Guided Walking Tour of Historic Stockbridge, exploring the places and people that inspired Norman Rockwell's iconic paintings.
  • July 18 | 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Summer Saturdays features hands-on artmaking activities for all ages inspired by American Stories: Revolution to Rockwell.

Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum (Adams)

  • July 18 | 3 p.m. Afternoon Tea Series: The Rejected Stone, Justice & the American Founding, featuring the unveiling of the museum's newest exhibition and curator talks exploring Susan B. Anthony's abolitionist roots.

Ventfort Hall Mansion & Gilded Age Museum (Lenox)

  • July 18 | 11:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m. - Saturday Salon Talk: Tools of the Trade
  • July 18 | 12:30 p.m. - Light Afternoon Tea: Enjoy a delectable tea sandwich and a variety of special sweets. Before or after tea, enjoy general admission to the museum with separately purchased ticket.
  • July 18 | 7 p.m. – Ghost Tour with Robert Oakes
  • July 21 | 4 p.m. – Tea & Talk: The Interplay between Nature and Culture Author Sheila Myers shares the research behind her five historical novels, exploring how historic homes—both grand and unassuming—shape our cultural memory. From the Smoky Mountains to the Adirondacks and Upstate New York, her talk reveals why the stories held within places like Ventfort Hall still resonate today. A tea will be served after her presentation.

PERFORMING ARTS

Berkshire Theatre Group

Lovesong opens at the Unicorn Theatre in #StockbridgeMA on July 22 and continues through August 29. Written by Abi Morgan, this tender and quietly powerful play traces a marriage across decades, revealing how love evolves, deepens, and endures over time.

Moving seamlessly between youth and later years, two versions of a couple share the stage as past and present unfold simultaneously. Through memory and lived experience, Lovesong explores love, aging, identity, and the lasting impact of life's choices. It is an intimate meditation on devotion, resilience, and the quiet moments that define a shared life.

Jacob’s Pillow — Festival Week 4 | July 15-19 (Becket)

  • Celebrating its 20th season, A.I.M by Kyle Abraham presents the U.S. premiere of White Space in the Ted Shawn Theatre. Developed during a 2025 Pillow Lab residency, the evening-length work explores the tension between individuality and community through Abraham's signature blend of athleticism and lyrical movement.
  • Appearing for the first time since 2018, Faye Driscoll Will Present Weathering in the Doris Duke Theatre
  • Tap Dance artist Michela Marino Lerman and the school at Jacob’s Pillow contemporary performance ensemble will appear on the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage
  • Festival Week 4 will offer workshops, classes, a free PillowTalk, and additional on-campus experiences

The Lion's Den offers live music throughout the week with performances by:

  • July 22 – Kriss Allen Trio

Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center (Great Barrington) offers another exciting week featuring comedy, blues, and classic rock.

Rebel Town a New Musical (through July 19 at Monument Mountain Regional High School in Gt. Barrington)

Presented as part of Stockbridge's America250 celebration, Rebel Town tells the story of ordinary citizens whose courage helped shape the American Revolution. Set in pre-Revolutionary Boston, the musical follows the events leading to the Boston Tea Party and Paul Revere's famous ride through heart, humor, and 27 original songs.

Special for Stockbridge residents: A free performance will be offered July 15 at 11 a.m.

Shakespeare & Company (Lenox) Fireflies continues through July 19, a touching story of romance and second chances. Meanwhile, Twelfth Night, by William Shakespeare runs through July 26. Directed by Kate Kohler Amory. Shipwrecks, mistaken identities, and romantic chaos unfold in this lively comedy filled with music, disguise, and joyful confusion. Set in a breathtaking outdoor amphitheatre, this production invites audiences to experience Shakespeare under the open sky in one of the nation’s top outdoor theater venues.

Circus & The Bard: A Tempest Tossed returns July 16–26 for another unforgettable mash-up! Shakespeare & Company and Spirit of the Circus team up once more to blend jaw-dropping acrobatics with the Bard's most beloved characters. When high-flying feats collide with timeless language, expect gasps, giggles, and pure theatrical magic.

Tanglewood Music Festival

Summer continues at Tanglewood with another outstanding week of performances by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, internationally acclaimed soloists, chamber ensembles, and popular artists.

  • July 17 | 6 p.m. - Prelude Concert: BSO Musicians (Seiji Ozawa Hall)
  • July 17 | 8 p.m. – Simon, Barber, and Selections from Nixon in China with Renee Fleming and Thomas Hampson (Koussevitzky Music Shed)
  • July 18 | 8 p.m. – Hisaishi conducts Hisaishi and Ravel with Jean-Yves Thibaudet (Koussevitzky Music Shed)
  • July 19 | 10:30 a.m. – Tanglewood Family Concert (Koussevitzky Music Shed)
  • July 19 | 2:30 p.m. - Haydn, Beethoven, and Shostakovich Piano Concerto No. 1 with Daniil Trifonov (Koussevitzky Music Shed)
