Are you ready to test your luck this Saint Patrick's Day? The 24th Annual Irish Sweepstakes party & drawing will be at the Elks at Bass Rocks to on Thursday, March 16! Several "pots of gold" will be given out! A total of $20,000 with the largest prize being $10,000!

Maritime Science Education Center Opening
Maritime Gloucester
Members Only on January 26 & 27
Public Opening on Saturday, January 28
The brand-new Maritime Science Education Center is a year-round, indoor science education space where learners of all ages can get up close and personal with local marine species at our touch tanks, learn about Gloucester's varied marine habitats, climb aboard our kid-sized lobster boat to evaluate the day's catch, and explore a microscopic world in our newly refitted plankton lab. Both members and non-members must sign up for a 1-hour visiting window during the opening weekend. Visiting the MSEC is free with your membership and you simply need to register for a time slot.

Winter Workshop: Garden Tool Maintenance

Join Backyard Growers to learn to prep your garden tools for spring and help them last for many growing seasons to come. In this workshop, attendees will learn to prolong the life of their garden tools and get the most out of them. We'll teach sharpening methods, the use of lubrication and mineral oil, proper storage conditions, and more.
