The legal playbook for startups


Launching a new business, technology, or product brings exciting opportunities but also important legal and business considerations. This practical session is designed to help entrepreneurs and startups think strategically about how they move new ideas into the marketplace.


During this session with Lucas Wetton and Hope Hickey Attorneys with Kerrick Bachert Law, will learn about key issues to consider when developing and launching new innovations, common pitfalls that startups often encounter, and ways to protect their business as it grows. The session will also cover important topics such as the proper use of graphics, logos, AI and branding, helping entrepreneurs better understand intellectual property considerations and how to avoid the unintentional misuse of copyrighted or trademarked materials.


Focused on real-world guidance, this session will give startups and small businesses the tools to make smarter decisions and build a stronger foundation for bringing their ideas to market.
