The purpose of recycled art is to encourage the reuse of variety of materials in new, different and creative forms, and to promote recycling and resource conservation. Recycling also conserves resources and protects the environment.

Jersey Shore Fairy Door Decorating Workshop by Meredith Avakian of Shellody Art.

Kids and their caregivers are invited to come get crafty with Shellody Art as we decorate doors for our fairy friends.

Natural earthy treasures like shells, stones and sticks will be provided, in addition to coloring and sealing materials.

Healing Yoga Flow

All are welcome to join us for a trauma informed yoga class to embody the true self, release stuck emotions, and develop a nurturing community. Trauma informed practices help us heal from cumulative stress as well as help build a loving relationship to the self while developing a deeper understanding of emotions. This session will include breathwork, embodiment practices, conscious movement, journaling, and connection. No yoga experience needed.

If you enjoy hunting for Chicken of the Woods Mushroom or making Autumn Olive or Beach Plum Jam, we welcome you to come participate in this casual potluck. Bring a dish to share that has at least one foraged or garden grown ingredient. Foragers love wild nature and if you do too, please come and meet some of your tribe and enjoy the flavors of the season! Event is held in our greenhouse and garden. BYOB, kid and pet friendly. August Happenings on the FARM

Director Monmouth County Commissioner Tom Arnone visited the Grown in Monmouth Camp that toured the Kula Urban Farm. The camp is run by the Monmouth County Park System with the goal of teaching campers where the food on their plates comes from by touring various farms throughout the County.

Director of Diversity and Inclusion Wesley McWhite III from the NJ Regulatory Commission presented during our Cannabis Industry workshop series hosted by Christopher Chiappetta. Chris is the co-owner of Good Feeling Farms in Asbury Park and tries to establish a network of businesses working together in the cannabis industry. Several participants are currently applying for licenses.

Smiling faces from the Inspire Life camp hosted by Second Baptist Church and STEAM Park. WE LOVE seeing these young students each year and look forward to next summer for another round of science- based learning in the garden
