Nebraska Medicine offering listening sessions to answer your COVID-19 questions

Two listening sessions are available for UNMC/Nebraska Medicine employees who have questions about the COVID-19 vaccines.

The 45-minute webinars are a safe space to ask questions and hear from a variety of experts and leaders. Anonymous questions will be allowed. The webinars are sponsored by Nebraska Medicine's African American/Black Alliance (AABA).

  • Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 3:15 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m.

To access the listening sessions, you must register for an account in Apollo, Nebraska Medicine's learning management system, and search for “AABA Vaccine Listening Session."

Dental Opportunities Fair is Friday!

All students - dental, dental hygiene and residents - are encouraged to attend.

Attendees will:
  • Meet organizations with present and future dental practice opportunities. 
  • Learn about the wide variety of career opportunities available to you.
  • Get detailed information about each organization’s culture, benefits, application process, etc.

Please bring your UNMC ID badge; we will scan it to track attendance. You are welcome to bring copies of your resume to give to potential employers.

Dr. Sundaralingam Premaraj has accepted the position of professor and chair of the department of orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University. Join us to thank Dr. Premaraj for his leadership and many contributions to the college and to wish him the very best as he assumes this next step in his academic career.

Asian Community & Cultural Center Harvest Moon Festival

The college will have an informational booth at this outdoor festival. There will be cultural performances, food, live music, activities, lantern lighting and more! The event is free and open to the public. 
Streets Alive! Festival for a Partnership for Healthy Lincoln

Sunday, Sept. 26
1:30 - 4 p.m.
4th & B St., Lincoln

The college will have an informational booth at this outdoor festival. Streets Alive! is a festival celebrated across America where a section of the city is cordoned off to let people literally play in the streets. The event is free and open to the public.
