Even though check fraud has made a comeback in the form of mail theft-related check fraud schemes, checks are still relevant. It is important to know how check fraud is being committed today and possible solutions to the situation. Rule 9, an ECCHO image exchange rule regarding forged and counterfeit checks has recently been modified to help address some of the fraud.

2024 Privacy Update from Troutman Pepper
