Fairbanks Arts’ Mini-Bazaar on Saturday, November 30 has migrated to TWO new locations and you won't want to miss them! Visit the Noel Wien Library Auditorium ( 1215 Cowles St, Fairbanks, AK 99701) and the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center ( 101 Dunkel St, Fairbanks, AK 99701) between 10am and 4pm to catch the vendors and enjoy handmade goods by local artists and artisans!

In addition to a wide variety offered by our participating vendors, Fairbanks Arts will have a table at each location, we are calling it the Wandering Bear Gift Shop :)
We will have an assortment of art, books, and goods all produced by Alaskan creatives!

Opening Reception

Join Fairbanks Arts for the First Friday Opening Reception of Rarefied Light, a juried exhibition sponsored by Alaska Photographic Center at its new exhibition location - Venue! We want to thank our partners at Venue for stepping in to host the largest annual fine art photography exhibition in the state when our facility was unexpectedly shut down.

This statewide exhibition features nine artists from Alaska’s Interior and we look forward to celebrating with you on First Friday at Venue!

An update and some thanks...

Fairbanks Arts is temporarily working out of the Noel Wien Library while we determine next steps. We want to express gratitude to the team at Noel Wien library for swooping in to make sure we had a place to work immediately after our building shut down. If you would like to reach the Fairbanks Arts staff, we encourage you to reach out via email at We cannot currently accept drop in visits at the library. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please email us. Please know we will continue to provide updates about upcoming event details as we are able.

We would also like to extend a huge THANK YOU to the many folks who have checked in with us and sent messages with offers of assistance and general positive thoughts! We love our community and appreciate your support of the Fairbanks Arts team and mission. We have received donations of two laptops so we are able to work remotely at the library and have had a number of individuals renew memberships and donate to Fairbanks Arts. We are thankful for our community!
