The Annual Groundbreaker A wards celebrate green building leadership, commitment and innovation in the greater Philadelphia region. This year, MaGrann-nominated Carpenter Lane is among the seven finalists! Carpenter Lane is a mixed use development that includes single story residences, coworking spaces, a public forecourt and multiple scales and layers of plantings that create a vibrant space for community interactions and development. Carpenter Lane was designed, built, and tested to achieve LEED for Homes and Commercial Interiors at the Platinum level. MaGrann Associates was the LEED for Homes Consultant for the project.

BUILDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION'S 17TH ANNUAL BUILDERS CONFERENCE
Real estate activity has grown in Philadelphia since the city launched the 10-year property tax abatement for new construction and improvements. The Building Industry Association of Philadelphia will examine the abatement's impact to date and its future at its 17th annual Builders Conference, including how changes in policy can affect the city's development climate and shift markets.
