For some "off the cuff"  excerpts from Jim McIngvale's Interview:

"Selling has been around since the beginning of humankind.
Sales men and women have built the entire world"....
....."In order for any idea or product to take hold, somebody's got to sell it.".......
"Selling is a craft that has to be nurtured and honed and developed over years,
not just weeks and months."
..."All these changes in our world, somebody had to sell the idea and overcome the objections and make the sale"....
"We are trying to show selling for what it is, a profession that takes a lifetime to learn...and
....It's what you learn after you know it all that really counts. We are going to help people learn...and then learn some more"...
..."With the digital explosion and the COVID crisis, with all these things that are hitting us in the head every day..you've got to reinvent yourself .....
Brick and mortar stores were the cat's meow..and Amazon changed everything... You've got to innovate or evaporate"...

More Words of Wisdom from Jim

Has Been Running Throughout August
Two More Sessions are Coming Up

Sessions 1-4 Were Excellent!

Attendance so far has ranged about 150 to 250 per session.

Session Topics: August 10 - The Art of Listening, August 12 - Persistence, August 17 - The Ability to Say No; and August 19 - Caring Customer Service.

Next Up is: August 24 - Building a Book of Business; and August 26 - What You Learn You Know It All.

Our Sessions are popular, engaging and interactive, via Q&A and chat.  Lots of live interaction with facilitators, Dr. Kimberly Burroughs and Austin Tenette and our host Sandra Louvier. There's also great peer-to-peer learning as attendees weigh in and add real life experiences, examples, challenges and problems solved.

Content Was Developed in Collaboration with Jim McIngvale. Thanks to:
  • Kimberly Burroughs, Ph.D. - Executive Director, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses,, Houston Community College
  • Austin Tenette - Entrepreneur in Residence; Houston Community College Northeast. Executive Leadership Coach, FocalPoint Coaching:
Who's Attending: A poll at one of the sessions determined that half of the attendees were small business owners; while others included employees, sales professionals and students. They all had in common an interest in upping their game in sales, be it selling their ideas, products, services and/or improving their performance in their jobs/professions/careers.
