Program Updates

Process Reminder Update: After your customer signs the new 2022 Property Owner Agreement, program staff will be contacting the customer to confirm their decision to participate and that they understand the program requirements. The program is implementing this process step as a quality assurance measure to validate customer participation. Other reminders to note are listed below.

  • Gas Energy Savings: The program will not be accepting new projects for 2022 with gas energy savings exceeding 5,000 therms without prior review and authorization from Program Management. Please note, electrification measures will not be affected.
  • Incentive Reservation Letter: Projects that already have an Incentive Reservation letter will still be accepted. This decision will help ensure our participating contractors and customers can benefit from an incentive budget that lasts throughout the year.
  • Change Orders: Neither contractor nor customer may deviate from approved scope as described in the Reservation Letter. The Customer and/or the Contractor shall notify the Program of any changes to the Scope of Work or construction completion date with an official Change Order Request. If approved, a new Reservation Letter will be issued. A Change Order Request must be presented to the Program within 30 days of date of original Reservation Letter. If final installation deviates from the approved Scope of Work, incentives will decrease or default to the amount on the Reservation Letter. Unauthorized scope changes are ineligible for incentive payment and could lead to termination from the Program.
