Please join National Indian Health Board (NIHB) for a climate learning community webinar: "2019-2020 Climate Ready Tribes Minigrant Project". This webinar will give an opportunity for the three NIHB Climate Ready Tribes minigrant grantees to present on climate health issues facing their communities and the work they have done to educate their Tribes about these issues.
This webinar will offer attendees the opportunity to learn from the grantees' work and experiences. Please come prepared to ask questions or share your own insights and experiences! This webinar is hosted as part of the Climate and Health Learning Community and is open to the public. The learning community is focused on knowledge exchange and members are encouraged to share information and build relationships with each other and the presenters.
Attendees will be asked to complete a short evaluation following the conclusion of the webinar.

Climate Ready Tribes initiative, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Each person who attends at least two learning community webinars can earn a professional development certificate.
Audience
This webinar is open to any interested person, but is likely most relevant to people who want to learn more about successful climate health communication in Tribal communities. This may include:
- Tribal employees working in environmental or climate health positions;
- Public health professionals interested in learning more about effective climate health communication in Tribal communities; or
- Tribal staff wanting to learn more about successful methods to conduct effective climate health education activities during a pandemic.

- Understand the importance of community education of climate change's health impacts.
- Identify potential methods of educating Tribal community members on climate health.
- Distinguish between effective climate health education techniques during the COVID-19 pandemic.
