The Royal Canadian Legion McMurray Branch 165 will be hosting a Remembrance Day Ceremony.

Wreath Laying: 9:00-10:25 & 11:30-2 pm
Ceremony: 10:30-11:15

We will be following current government COVID-19 regulations and masks must be worn by all attendees.

Poppy Campaign will start October 31. Poppy trays will be in various businesses to support local Veterans and Social Profits.
Calling all Crafters!

Starting November 9th, STHT will be revealing a part of the pattern once a week for 4 weeks. 

Each of the patterns will be a fun and easy - suitable for all levels of cross-stitchers, including beginners.

Connect with other crafters in your community while staying safe and socially distanced in your own home!

After registering, you will receive an email with further details about supplies needed and other helpful tips.

Have you ever wanted to put on a theatre production, but not sure where to begin? Are you curious about the process, or looking for input on how to get a play you wrote on stage?

This two-hour workshop will contain practical advice, an overview of the history of theatre in Fort McMurray, budgeting and available resources, and the different stages of production.

All experience levels welcome.

Volunteers will be stationed alongside H. Wilsons Trucks at all our local grocery stores collecting food and monetary donations.

Centre of Hope is excited to be hosting their 15th Annual KD Gala.

This year, due to COVID-19 Guidelines, the event will be hosted as a take-away style luncheon and feature gourmet MAC & CHEESE dishes prepared by local chefs.

Stop by the Unifor Building for delicious takeout and home-baked treats in support of United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo.

Tickets are $25 each, kids eat for free!
