PCDP REORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
In the interest making the upcoming Reorganizational meeting more efficient, we are asking you to indicate your interest to become an ADP State Committeeperson.
There are 26 positions available through the Pinal County Democratic Party Committee. Regardless of indicating your interest, nominations for State Committeepersons will be made in accordance with ADP ARTICLE II STATE COMMITTEE. Section 1. Membership. .

The following are the duties of a State Committeeperson:

Section 3. DUTIES OF THE STATE COMMITTEEPERSONS. The duties of a State Committeeperson shall include, but not be limited to, the following: (a) canvass and campaign only on behalf of Democratic candidates; (b) assist in registration programs and in turning out a maximum Democratic vote; (c) support the ADP as well as his/her County and Legislative District Committees; (d) encourage financial support of the ADP, his/her County and Legislative District Committees; and (e) protect and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States and the State of Arizona. 

As a State Committee person you will have an opportunity to be appointed to state committees as well as be able to join an ADP caucus or council as a voting member.

The statutory, biannual reorganization of the Pinal County Democratic Party(PCDP) will occur on December 10th at 6:00 PM, via Zoom, at the attached link. All elected Precinct Committeepersons (PCs) are invited to run for an position, and/or vote for PCDP officers and State Committee Members (SCMs). Only attendees will be allowed to run for an Officer position. According to State Statute, we are authorized 1 SCM for every 3 elected PCs, plus the Chairperson who is automatically an SCM.
