Our next book is “Tales for Jung Folks” by Richard Roberts. We will meet on April 27, and then every 2 weeks thereafter until done. The book is not available in Libraries but is available online at Amazon, AbeBooks and Biblio.com. We have seen it on other sites but at too high of a price. At our first meeting, we will discuss the author and the first 2 fairy tales.

Book Club is always free, but you need to register in order that we can send you the link. Please register below.

SPIRITUAL SCIENCE: Sustained Mindfulness & Higher Consciousness

May 13 and 20, 2025, 7:00-8:00 pm EST

John Schuster

Zoom Only

We are very excited to announce that John Schuster will be joining us to present the program, “Spiritual Science: Research on our Potential for Sustained Mindfulness & Higher Consciousness.”  John is a long-time and beloved member of JACO. He is a coach and mentor to business and non-profit leaders with an MA in literature and an MA in psychology from Saybrook University’s Jungian studies program. He is an author and produced a podcast about aging with intention called “Stories for the Ages” on NPR.

John’s program will present an overview of some significant recent research on spirituality, neuro-science, nature, and meditation. It is designed to assist us in (a) understanding the 4 levels of meditation; (b) reviewing brain research related to meditation; and (c) helping us to better appreciate the practices and approaches of meditation.  John considers the program a “Western scientific step to knitting [the split between spirit and matter] by looking at what happens in our brains as the basis for consciousness shifts when we regularly engage some form of Eastern/Western or indigenous spiritual or mindful practice.”

There is a discounted registration fee for members and a discounted registration fee when signing up for both sessions.

SATURDAY CONVERSATIONS: RUSSIAN NUMEROLOGY

JUNE 14, 2025, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

In Person: 1550 Old Henderson Road, Conference Room (back of building), Columbus, OH 43220

Anastasia Shevchenko

Join us on June 14, 2025 for an informative presentation and conversation regarding Russian Numerology presented by Anastasia Svenchenko. Russian numerology was developed by Russian mathematicians who combined ancient knowledge of Egyptian priests, Chinese sages, and Pythagoreans with substantial modern-day research to create a system designed to see not just stagnant numbers, but their motions, transitions to other numbers, creations of new numbers and more. As such, it is a unique system that allows one to gain valuable insights about individuals, interpersonal interactions, and even historical events.

Saturday Conversations is always free (but donations are always welcome). Kindly RSVP below if you plan to attend. This will help us prepare the space and the environment to fully support you. Thank you!
