Mark your calendars! Episode 2 of SLICED is coming!
TONIGHT at 7 pm!

In Episode 2 of SLICED, Daly City Recreation Services' chefs from Episode 1 return to the kitchen with a twist! Each will be participating in an appetizer, entree, and dessert round — all of which contain “secret ingredients” that must be incorporated in their dishes.

Who do you think will be crowned SLICED Champion? Reigning champion and Doelger Cafe Chef Opal Fuller or culinary wizards Brian Flowers, Angelo Ignacio or David Zetzer? Join us on Wednesday, November 25th at 7:00PM to find out!

This Thanksgiving will be unlike any other for almost every American in that we need to take care of each other by keeping physically apart from one another. Are you wondering what to do this year on Thanksgiving Day? Well, we hope you will join us for a friendly, festive and fun "virtual" Thanksgiving visit at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 26. Don't miss our trivia contest with a special prize, sing-a-long, hot topics, and the chance to visit with friends old and new!

Thank you Supervisor Canepa and staff for your Age-Friendly leadership. And, thank you Commission on Aging member Cherie Querol Moreno for representing Daly City as co-chair of our Age-Friendly Task Force.
