Louisville Central Community Center is proud to partner with Kentucky Humanities' Prime Time Family Reading Time program!
FAMILY BONDING! Storytelling! Mini library of books! FREE childcare! FREE transportation! Door prizes! DINNER PROVIDED! What better way to spend a Tuesday evening?
LCCC cordially invites you to join us for a six week reading, discussion, and storytelling program held at our facility. Develop a lifelong love of reading in your family through Prime Time Family Reading. You’ll enjoy engaging, family-based reading and discussion on topics such as fairness, courage, and dreams. Prime Time's discussion strategies are proven to increase creativity, critical thinking, and academic success. So bring a blanket, get comfortable, engage in a great story, and we will treat you to dinner every week!
When: Every Tuesday, beginning April 18th @5:30pm-7:30pm (April 18th, 25th, May 2nd, 9th, 16th, & 23rd)

In 2023, Louisville Central Community Centers, Inc. will celebrate 75 years of service to the community. Live on air on the legendary Bill Price announced a call to action with the "75 Year Challenge" and pledged his support by offering up the very first donation to the cause. We call on our community to join this challenge and pledge your support by $75 or any increment of $75 today. Your donation goes directly to help support the individuals, children, and families we serve daily with services, programs, and events that increase the opportunity for economic mobility and remove barriers to success. Uplifted Life now is preparing for the resurgence of the Taste of West Louisville. This event will take place on Sunday, June 11th, 2023 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Early bird tickets are on sale now ($35 for reg, $50 for VIP). Come out and taste some of the best bites that Louisville has to offer. Regular tickets include general access to the event, while VIP tickets include a VIP Tasting presented by the IX Bourbon Lounge. We look forward to seeing you there!
