- To review the natural history and public health importance of RSV infection in children.
- To discuss the efficacy, indications, and usage of the new childhood RSV immunization product, nirsevimab.
- To consider the impact of the nationwide nirsevimab shortage on clinical utilization.
- To review the development, safety, efficacy, and clinical usage of the maternal RSV vaccine to protect infants from RSV infection.
- To further discuss how to approach implementation challenges to maternal RSV vaccine administration.
