Provider call objectives:

  1. To review the natural history and public health importance of RSV infection in children.
  2. To discuss the efficacy, indications, and usage of the new childhood RSV immunization product, nirsevimab. 
  3. To consider the impact of the nationwide nirsevimab shortage on clinical utilization.
  4. To review the development, safety, efficacy, and clinical usage of the maternal RSV vaccine to protect infants from RSV infection.
  5. To further discuss how to approach implementation challenges to maternal RSV vaccine administration.
