EXPERIENCE UDEP - Helping Kids Learn and Grow through Technology

MJC member Joe Berkowitz and his family for the past five years have been connecting children who live in disaster and poverty-ridden areas to the world through technology, school by school, installing computers, networking, printers and more.

Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN) - Did you know that MJC members have been assembling trays of lasagna for the Interfaith Nutrition Network for almost 20 years? Come help us fulfill this mitzvah at the MJC at 9am on the following dates:  2/14, 3/14, 4/18, 5/16, 6/20, 7/18, 8/15, 9/19, 10/17


The following event is hosted by Solomon Schechter School of Long Island.  Rabbi Dermer will be one of the teachers that evening.  
Schechter LI presents - Night of Jewish Learning on Saturday, February 9th from 7:30 to 10:00 pm at the Upper School Campus, 6 Cross Street, Williston Park, NY 11596. The theme is "Eilu v'Eilu: Using our diversity to create a stronger Jewish community".
Sessions will include traditional text study, music and experiential workshops on a variety of topics, taught by our SSLI faculty and community rabbis, cantors and Jewish educators.
Introductory remarks by our incoming Head of School, Dr. Scott Sokol.
Event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served.  RSVP's are required. Click here to register.

Drop off your bags in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters bin located in the back of our parking lot, and the office will provide you with a tax receipt.   Too many bags to carry?  Call the office and a volunteer will be happy to schedule a home pickup.  Thank you!
