2) Communications Administrative Assistant at Temple Beth El of Great Neck.

The CAA is a primary creator and driver of general communications to the temple community, including users, members and supporters. The CAA will help overs weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual communications through a wide array of mediums, including flyers, magazines, mailers, press releases, temple website, FB postings, etc. The CAA will organize and lead the organization in creating a communications plan and calendar to maximize our impact. The CAA will work in partnership with the temple staff and leadership to bring attention to key programs and activities. As a key communications professional, the CAA will also assist in front line staff, assisting with answering temple inquiries by phone and in-person. The right candidate will have 3+ years of office experience that includes creating flyers, using online platforms (Constant Contact, Google office, Facebook) and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Superior interpersonal and computer skills, plus the ability to comfortably work with short deadlines is necessary for this position. The CAA position is offered at $20k+ per annum (20 hours per week). The position is 3-4 weekday afternoons, must be available on Tuesday (until 5pm), Thursdays (until 5pm) and Fridays (until 4pm). Clothing Donation?
Drop off your bags in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters bin located in the back of our parking lot, and the office will provide you with a tax receipt.   Too many bags to carry?  Call the office and a volunteer will be happy to schedule a home pickup.  Thank you!
