Hello friends!
If you were with us in person for one of our Worship Services yesterday, you probably noticed it was quite warm inside of the building. I want to first thank our volunteers, particularly our band, who endured this heat for hours and kept a positive attitude while our team attempted to get the controls back on to normal temperatures. We discovered our heating systems were running when they should not have been and have reached out to a company to run a preventative maintenance and repairs on it. We are working to get this company scheduled as soon as possible but are currently unsure of when they will be able to complete the work.
This past Sunday was not very comfortable, and we do not want a repeat of this. We are going to move locations for our Ash Wednesday Service this week and the next two Sunday morning Worship Services.
Ash Wednesday Service
Our Ash Wednesday Service is this Wednesday evening at 7pm and will be in the Ministry Center Chapel. It will be a traditional service of music, Scripture, and receiving ashes in the shape of a cross on either your forehead or hand (but is optional).
Sunday Morning Worship
On February 18th and 25th, we will meet in the Ministry Center Student Worship Center (located upstairs) for ONE combined SERVICE AT 10AM. We would also love to gather for some time of fellowship beginning at 9am. Please join us for a light breakfast and coffee in the Ministry Center Atrium. We will have tables set up for you to gather and the indoor playscape and recreational room will be open for any children. If you would like to bring your favorite breakfast dish or item to share, please do so!
While the Worship Center may be out of commission for this time period, we are still excited to have the opportunity to gather over breakfast and coffee, and all come together to worship.
We have made these plans for the next two Sundays in hopes the repair company will be able to get the Worship Center back up and running by March. If anything changes or the plan is delayed, we will send out a church wide email and be positing on our Facebook page that you can follow by clicking here.
