On, Thursday April 30, 2020, the Turkish Heritage Organization hosted a webinar:  The struggle for the rights of Crimean Tatars and the latest developments in Ukraine . Featuring:  Ayla Bakkalli , Crimean Tatars Representative at UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues and  Andrij Dobriansky  of Ukrainian Congress Committee of America. Hande Özsan Bozatlı
Dr Hande Özsan Bozatlı  is a medical professional and former President of the Assembly of European Regions. Bozatlı was elected to serve as a Provincial Council member in Istanbul in 2009 and became Vice President. She was the president of the EU and International Relations Committee of the Provincial Council until April 2014. She' was elected in 2010 as the President of the Assembly of European Region’s Committee on Culture, Education, Youth and International Cooperation.

Sarah Houston
Sarah was a Posse scholar at Pepperdine University, where she studied Political Science and Film Studies. As Vice President of the Student Government Association, she founded Pepperdine's first ever Women's Initiative for students, bringing together women's groups from all over campus for speaker events and long term policy change.  Read more about Sarah here.
