Some of you have asked if I'm leading a tour to Yellowstone this year and the answer is yes!  I just added the Yellowstone and Glacier Adventure tour to my schedule, departing August 27-Sept. 6.  It also includes Grand Teton National Park.

Visit PICTURESQUE SEDONA with its distinctive red rock formations and artists colony and tour MONTEZUMA CASTLE, site of prehistoric Native American cliff dwellings. Stand in awe at the rim of the Grand Canyon with its mesmerizing beauty.  Also view LAKE POWELL, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world.  

You will tour  BRYCE CANYON, a wondrous land of pines and oddly sculpted formations and discover  ZION NATIONAL PARK, where desert rocks mingle with crystal rivers.
Enjoy  GLITTERING LAS VEGAS, with it's non-stop activities and colorful themed hotels.  Also experience breathtaking Hoover Dam, ONE OF THE MODERN ENGINEERING WONDERS.  

THIS MODERATELY ACTIVE PROGRAM covers a fair amount of ground each day. Expect from three to four hours walking on some touring days. The pace is moderate, however you will encounter some uneven surfaces, steps and slopes. The altitude in the National Parks varies and may be a consideration for those who have heart conditions or are otherwise affected by height. Hotels in National Parks provide limited amenities.

Nine days: That is all you need to gain an insider's perspective of Alaska on this escorted tour. Your time in The Last Frontier begins in FAIRBANKS, where a RIVERBOAT TOUR acquaints you with the local waterways, and a trip to TRAIL BREAKER KENNEL allows you to experience one of Alaska's favorite pastimes, dog sledding. It is also from Fairbanks that we board the storied rails of the Alaskan Railroad for a ride aboard the DENALI STAR. The train will take us right into the heart of Denali National Park, where great adventure meets wildlife spotting and breathtaking scenery. 

Continuing on the Denali Star, we move through the vast open terrain as we make our way to TALKEETNA. The view along the way is truly inspiring - keep your camera within reach. An overnight stay allows you to soak in the charm of this destination before we continue southbound to Anchorage, down the TURNAGAIN ARM and finally down through the Kenai Peninsula before arriving in Seward. 

It is in Seward that we have a gateway to one of the most majestic places in southern Alaska, KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK.
