A FINAL REMINDER: Town Hall Meeting

Town hall meeting next week...

Date: Thursday, July 10th

Time:

  • 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Networking
  • 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Town Hall

Place: Trellis Coworking & Events

Location: 981 Mission St., San Francisco

Delicious hors d'oeuvres will be provided by Bini's Kitchen Nepalese restaurant and the first 50 drinks will be on the house. After that, drinks are available at guests' own expense.

There have been some recent changes on 6th Street regarding the use of the Triage Center, which is now being utilized for additional services in the proposed partnership with Urban Alchemy.

Originally, we hoped the Triage Center would significantly help improve the quality of life on 6th Street and in the surrounding areas. While some progress has been made, certain challenges remain. To address these, SFPD and DPW will begin to work more closely with Urban Alchemy to develop and implement more effective solutions.

There is no doubt that the leadership of the Tenderloin and Southern Police Stations, along with DPW, have invested substantial effort into revitalizing this area. We are optimistic that the proposed initiatives will lead to real improvements. We look forward to sharing more at the town hall.

On the panel at this town hall will be Senator Scott Weiner, Supervisor Matt Dorsey, San Francisco Sheriff Paul Miyamoto, Lieutenant Alex Kwan from Tenderloin Station, a lieutenant from Southern Station, and DPW Engagement Team Outreach Coordinators Domenique Charles and Sam Dodge.

This event offers a chance to ask questions and share suggestions with the panel—input that could help shape positive changes for the South of Market community.
