Upcoming Traffic Pattern

Changes on SH-55
 

Motorists on State Highway 55 (SH-55) can expect traffic pattern changes on:


  • June 11 at the SH-55 and Lake Avenue intersection
  • June 18 at the SH-55 and Middleton Road intersection
  • June 24 at the SH-55 and Indiana Avenue intersection

What to expect:

  • Nighttime work (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • Lane closures at night
  • Traffic control devices and signs in the roadway
  • Flaggers directing traffic

The new traffic configurations will create a safe work zone for crews working on the south side of the highway.


All traffic impacts will occur overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

SH-55 & Lake Avenue June 11
 
New traffic pattern at SH-55/Middleton Rd intersection begins June 11. There will be one lane open in each direction and a dedicated left turn lane at the intersection.

On Thursday, June 11, a new traffic configuration will be implemented on SH-55 at Lake Avenue.


The new configuration includes:

  • One lane open in each direction
  • Dedicated left turn lane at the intersection

SH-55 & Middleton Road June 18
 

On Thursday, June 18, crews will put into place a new traffic pattern at the intersection of SH-55 and Middleton Road.

The new traffic pattern includes:

  • One lane open in each direction
  • Dedicated left and right turn lanes at the intersection
New traffic pattern at SH-55/Lake Ave intersection begins June 18. There will be one lane open in each direction and a dedicated left lane at the intersection.

New traffic pattern at SH-55/Indiana Ave intersection begins June 24. There will be one lane open in each direction and a dedicated left lane at the intersection.

On Wednesday, June 24, a new traffic pattern will be put into place at the intersection of SH-55 and Indiana Avenue.


The new configuration includes:

  • One lane open in each direction
  • Dedicated left turn lane at the intersection

Slow down, pay attention to shifting traffic patterns and follow directions from signs and flaggers.
