Advocacy Council for Abused Deaf Children (ACADC)

April 14, 2018 from 9-1:30pm , the ACADC will host a free training for service providers working with Deaf children entitled “See Something, Say Something: Recognizing Trauma in Deaf Children” at Magnolia Place located at 1910 Magnolia Ave. in Los Angeles. The guest trainer will be Sara Ranssi, MA/LCSW. CEU's available.

Asian & Pacific Islander, Children, Youth and Family Council     (API CYFC)
The API Council will be hosting an educational training for the Chinese community on May 14th from 9-11:30am at the Live Oak Park Community Center located at 10144 Bogue St., Temple City, 91780. Parents will learn about child safety as it relates to those families who have immigrated to the United States. For event details, please contact Nina Y. Serving the San Fernando & Santa Clarita Valleys (SPA 2)
On April 21st, the Council will again partner with the SPA 2 Council for Family Well-Being to provide our 2nd community gathering entitled “Working Hand in Hand: Fostering Strong Families.”  This event will target 300 parents, youth, agency and institutional partners living and working in SPA 2.  The event will take place at The Help Group located at 13130 Burbank Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91401 on Saturday, April 21st from 8:30am to 2pm and will feature multiple workshops as well as an opening panel.  To register please visit Eventbrite at:
