The Washington, DC Chapter will celebrate VSU Founder's Day with its annual Church Service Observance and Brunch. The Chapter will be in morning worship during the 9:30AM serviceat the Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, 9832 Piscataway Road in Clinton, MD on Sunday, March 13th. Immediately following the service the Chapter will fellowship at the Fish Market Restaurant & Soup Co., 7611 Old Branch Ave., Clinton, MD. All Trojan alumni are encouraged to wear orange & blue or VSU/VSUAA paraphernalia in recognition of Mt. Ennon's "HBCU Sunday." VSUAA Student Recruitment Activity
From now until the end of the school year, the Mecklenburg-Brunswick Chapterwill host a "Chat and Chew Hour" in effort to help with student recruitment. This activity is designed to encourage high school students to plan for college after high school. High school students are invited along with their parents to Brian's Steakhouse on east Atlantic Street in South Hill, VA, for a robust one-hour discussion on the topic.
