Hi Janine,
Leaders in Energy wants to let you know about two upcoming circularity virtual events over the next two weeks. They are focused on ways people can bring about change in their own lives as well as in their communities on both zero waste and climate change.
The first webinar (11/29) presents entrepreneurs from the Washington DC area whose businesses help people incorporate zero waste practices in their lives. Their businesses include special events where people can repair rather than replace items; a store that collects cast-off materials and resells them affordably to create art; and an innovative dry goods/grocer that models the use of old-style reusable packaging to eliminate throwaway waste.
The second webinar (12/5) brings together speakers from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Denmark to examine how local governments are working to integrate circular economy and climate action in their areas. They will discuss "how the circular economy can help deepen and accelerate progress on climate change, and highlight key pathways forward."
