ROANOKE CONNECT ROLLOUT

The Roanoke Connect broadband initiative is moving ahead on schedule. To date, more than 850 homes have been connected to receive high-speed internet service. Most recently, crews completed more than 150 installations in the Conway area of Northampton County. Before construction begins in any designated area, subscribers are now required to submit a non-refundable prepayment for the first month of service.
WHERE WE ARE
  • Currently, crews are near completion of installations in the Mapleton area of Hertford County.
  • Crews are also finishing up mainline construction in the Roduco and Easons area of Gates County. Meanwhile, construction recently began in the Windsor and Merry Hill areas of Bertie County. Residents in each of these locations are urged to sign up now, so the team can notify you when it’s time to set up a new account.

WHERE TO NEXT?
  • Crews are laying the groundwork for home installations in the Aulander area to begin in June. To date, there are more than 160 orders for service in the Aulander area. Please continue to encourage neighbors, family, and friends in this area to sign up as soon as possible.
  • While we strive to meet all deadlines, the weather is unpredictable and could cause a delay in the posted periods above. We appreciate your patience and look forward to serving you.
