The Community Health Law Project (CHLP) is a non-profit legal services organization providing legal and advocacy services to low-income New Jersey residents living with disabilities for over 48 years.

CHLP has regional and satellite offices throughout the state, and its dedicated staff assists individuals in a myriad of legal issues, including SSD/SSI claims and other entitlements, housing, health care and managed care issues, guardianship, family, consumer, and other civil law matters.

Prior to joining CHLP, Ms. Kerber practiced family law at Northeast New Jersey Legal Services, litigated child welfare cases for the City of New York, and worked in private practice.
