On January 16, 2024, the American Petroleum Institute (API) announced the official release of their much-anticipated updates to API Recommended Practices (RPs) 752, 753, and 756. These RPs, focused on facility siting guidance for permanent buildings, trailers and tents in hazardous areas of oil and natural gas facilities, provide guidance to manage risks from process-related explosion, fire, and toxic hazards on permanent buildings, portable buildings, and tents.
How do changes in these RPs impact you and your facility? Join BakerRisk’s webinar, “Enhancing Safety: Understanding updates to API RP 752, 753, and 756” where API committee member Joshua Bruce-Black will help you navigate through the main changes to these RPs, understand why the changes are important, and how to implement them. This webinar is especially important for facility siting coordinators.
