Supporting our students ...
and assisting the Cedar Falls Community Schools in the creation of a distinctive educational environment. The Cedar Falls Schools Foundation is an Iowa nonprofit corporation for the sole benefit of the Cedar Falls Community School District.
The Foundation presented thirteen new scholarships to CFHS graduates at the High School Honors Convocation Ceremony on May 9th, 2017. In the fall of 2017, twenty-seven students will be receiving Foundation supported scholarships, either new or renewed, because of the generosity of our donors.
The Cedar Falls Schools Foundation was established to enhance "A Tradition of Excellence" and support the Cedar Falls Community School District by generating resources and advocating for quality public education.

Job Title:
Service Coordinator - Residential
LSI currently seeks a full-time Service Coordinator to coordinate and supervise residential programs at Bremwood Residential Campus in Waverly and the northern service area.
Coordinates and supervises residential programs on campus. Responsible for providing a safe, positive, therapeutic living environment to residents through independent judgment and discretion to achieve resident treatment success. Trains and supervises staff and volunteers. Serves as a professional member of the therapeutic treatment team serving the needs of children entrusted to the care of LSI. Assists in managing and achieving outcomes including reduction of critical incidents, and tracking and supporting documentation. Responsible for funding and program compliance.
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human service field plus a minimum of five years experience in child mental health; three years supervisory experience.
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.

July 12: Hunting Down the Data
More often than not, the most useful data won't be found already neatly laid out in a spreadsheet. You might find extremely valuable data in handwritten staff notes, in multiple software systems, or public repositories. We'll discuss where different data can live, which sources of data might be useful, and where and how you can collect it to be ready for analysis.
July 19: Making Use of Your Data
In the final session, we will discuss the various ways you will need to manage and use the data you've collected. We'll consider the logistics of entering, storing, and maintaining your data. We'll also look at how to develop an action plan that ensures your data program is useful and sustainable.

- Participants will also be given weekly "homework" assignments.
