Or Chadash Congregational Seder 2025!

Each year the Jewish People throughout the world gather around the Seder table, united in our collective memory of the passage from slavery to freedom.

It is my pleasure to invite you and your family to join me for our Or Chadash Congregational Seder on Friday, April 18th 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. We will be gathering at 5:30 PM to schmooze. The seder will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.

We will join together in story (Haggadah means "the telling") and song as together we create a meaningful holiday experience.

This meal promises to be delicious!! The menu includes crudite plate, charoset, gefilte fish, matzo ball soup, salad, grilled vegetables, matzo kugel, roasted chicken, dessert, and coffee, tea, juice and wine (BYO). Kid-friendly chicken-fingers will be available.

I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you, your friends, family and neighbors. Please register below by Monday, April 14th. There is a reduced fee of $5 per person for registering by Friday April 11th.

Thank You to Our Graduating Senior TAs!

An extraordinary thank you to our graduating senior Teaching Assistants.

Kate MacIsaac, Izzie Hodkinson, Harrison Langer and Dylan Berg (missing in photo Amanda Korfin) have tirelessly supported our students and faculty for five years with teaching, administrative and general support. There was no task too large or small to complete; reading books to students, practicing Hebrew 1:1, library management, challah slicing, juice pouring, salt spreading on the patio, opening the shed to retrieve holiday items, packing Mishloach Manot Purim Gift bags, mailing packages to college students—and our Teaching Assistants completed these tasks with a smile and a sense of humor. Our Teaching Assistants are the best of Or Chadash and we thank them and their incredible families for helping them make this remarkable weekly commitment to our community.

As part of our end of year appreciation we created a slide show of the Teaching Assistants through their Or Chadash years (beginning with Temple Tots) which our younger students thoroughly enjoyed. Our graduating seniors received a personalized word cloud (see below) and a tool box to take with them on their next adventure.

Todah Rabah to Kate, Izzie, Harrison, Dylan and Amanda. We thank you and will miss you next year. We hope you will come back to visit us on Sunday mornings.
