SOUTH MOUNTAIN RESERVATION

HILLTOP RESERVATION
Date: Saturday, February 1
Time: 1PM - 2:15PM (Rain or Shine) (For concerns about cancellation due to snow, check our facebook page.)
Location: 475 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ. We will be protesting in front of the Verona Park sign at the corner of Lakeside and Bloomfield Aves.
Parking: Verona Municipal Building, 600 Bloomfield Ave, Verona (across from the police station). Walk 2-3 blocks down to Verona Park.
We have signs and banners or you can bring your own sign. Share and bring a friend.
Sharp shooters bait the deer and position themselves in trees, so when unsuspecting deer come out for the food trap, they are shot to death.
Since 2008, a total of 3,057 deer, including 1,131 unborn, have been killed by County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Jr.
Please contact DiVincenzo and these two commissioners. Tell them to stop wasting taxpayer money. The $1 million already spent over the years to kill the deer should be invested in a nonlethal deer program such as surgical sterilization, which would have paid for itself by now.
