Hey Ohio Region Patrollers!

Calling all backcountry skiers/riders, Senior candidates needing electives, or Certified preparing patrollers! We've got an avalanche event as well as a few other events coming up for you check out.



Also, this past weekend the Region ran the Senior Aid Room Module and the Senior OEC Module. A big thank you to the trainers and patrollers that helped facilitate the event and a big congrats to our successful candidates!

Avalanche Course: Avalanche Level 1 – Module 1, classroom session

• Dates: Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 9:00am
• Location: Comfort Inn is 260 Northview Dr. Bellefontaine, OH. Near Mad River Mountain
• Cost: $25

There are two steps to register for any of these classes:

1. Ohio Region NSP Webpage: ohionsp.org/ohio-region-events
2. Go to NSP.org and log in:

• Select Center for Learning
• Select Browse Catalog (yellow box)
• In the Box on the Left Side select OUTDOOR EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION
• Find the event you want to attend: (see below) click Enroll
• Toboggan Enhancement Seminar
• Toboggan Trainers Workshop
• Snowsports Enhancement Seminar
• Snowsports Trainers Workshop
• Outdoor Emergency Transportation Skills
• Find by date and location of the event you want to attend: click SELECT
