WISE art group
The WISE art group is running seasonal 6-week sessions this year. For spring, we are creating visual journals using mixed media. Materials are available for pickup at the WISE Program Center or you can collect images and materials from your own spaces. Weekly prompts combine free-writing and art-making to inspire and encourage participants to explore art in new, personal, and meaningful ways. Materials include paint, ink, photos and images, things taken from nature such as leaves and petals, passages from books, bits of string and ribbon, and more. During groups we check in, connect with one another, explore prompts, share our thoughts and work as it feels right.
WISE art group meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7:00 pm on Zoom. For more information and materials, contact Bailey.

“As one of the three educators at WISE, I have the amazing opportunity to witness the importance of education and engagement with young people around what they can do to prevent and end gender-based violence. Participating in the CBHM is an exciting challenge to fundraise for WISE and run 13.1 miles” - Izzy, Team WISE
